Any Forumsitical because this entire board is mentally retarded anyway.
Talked to a psychiatrist and he recommends either Escitalopram or Bupropion. I am scared of the side effects but I can't go on like this. Share your experiences. Are those medications legit or just a pharma money grab?
A healthy diet, exercise, and detoxing is what you need. If you need an extra boost take something like 5HTP or SAMe. They are natural antidepressants.

Don't do it nigger. Go outside and start running. If you're too fatten start walking. Stop jacking off every day. Eat fresh food you prepared

There's your problem right there. There's a book called Mind fixers it's by Professor Anne Harrington you should read it. Explain to me the utility I'm taking a pharmaceutical intervention when they have such a dismal cases history. I'm 55 years old I've never been on any kind of pharmaceutical drug whatsoever out that they haven't tried Prozac Paxil Trazodone. My habitual tendency is when things get really rough I go and hang out with my buddy Jim Beam. And then I can hang out with Jim Beam for a little too long from time to time. And I check myself into detox. Explain to me like I'm a four-year-old why or what the utility is in going from Suburban or weed or whatever your poison is to some pharmaceutical drug... if you want to have a healthy mind start weight training start with your own body weight. Try and do a little bit every day. Learn to meditate. Physicians don't give a rat's ass about you. What they do care about is themselves and what incentives or monetary Rewards they get from the pharmaceutical industry.
Take care of your health, eat more protein and avoid seed oils, get more omega-3 from fish, get sun, exercise, and if you're still sad take some psychedelics or find Jesus. Or if you are suicidal, make sure you take out some jews or bankers on the way out, don't let it be in vain.

You know that recreational drug use is more degenerate than antidepressants right?
Brandon Powell

Kevin Taylor
Dont take them. The brain zaps. Just dont
Nicholas Scott
>Talked to a psychiatrist why? do they have some insight as to when things stop being so shit? >he recommends either Escitalopram or Bupropion unpronounceable meds won't fix the underlying problem of why you even need those meds >medications legit or just a pharma money grab? both: get stupefied, and pay for the privilage
if you went running about with a club, started raping women, taking things that society says does not belong to you, and being generally ungovernable, would that be fun for you or not? because if so, then the problem is that you've been bent into a form society wants you to be, and you've conditioned yourself into thinking that's all there is; and that is why most young men are miserable
Nathaniel White
Antidepressants will only cement and delay your problems, it doesn't let the user get any better and has a ton of negative side-effects on your health, organs and mind.
Do what traditionally works, exercise, wander in nature, get fit, develop good qualities, find a purpose
Juan Wright
If you would be okay with taking Adderall for performance enhancement purposes, there is literally no reason not to try buproprion. They do almost exactly the same thing.
Jeremiah Hill
have a plan to get off once you are out of your rut, not a permanent solution.
Adam James
They're a money grab, mainly.
Unless you are depressed beyond comprehension, like you wanna off yourself, then I wouldn't touch them. Why? They have horrible side effects and they cause dependency.
During COVID I took Prozac for about 90 days / 3 months.
During the first week or so, I felt "better", but not normal.
>I was still depressed, I just didn't CARE that I was depressed. That's what antidepressants do in my experience. They make you not care about anything. They take all of your passion away. You won't want to do things you're normally very into doing (hobbies, going out, sex, etc.) You won't get angry easily. You won't get happy easily.
Basically they're the perfect drug for making people compliant and easy to manipulate. If I were a horrible dictator and I wanted my citizens to go along with my evil plans, I'd make them all take SSRI's.
All SSRI antidepressants are shitty med's. I've been on two; and I know many people who've taken them on and off for years. They make you feel nothing, and what you do feel is...crap. It's analogous to closing your eyes and blocking your ears when you don't want to hear and see something bad, except it's doing that to your brain, all the time.
>TLDR: >DON'T TAKE ANTIDEPRESSANTS They'll wreck you, and when you want to get off of them, you'll get withdrawal symptoms that are terrible.
Bentley Reed
Do an exorcism instead
Brody Ortiz
Fuck big pharma Meds are pseudo science Most people don't have a chemical imbalance, they have a shit life, but even if you did have an imbalance these faggots don't know how to fix that. They just dose you and keep experimenting but never fixing anything
Caleb Cox
Inspiring. Best of luck to him.

Do NOT take them. You’re having a natural response to a very unnatural world. You’re probably deficient in micronutrients and exercise. This might be meme advice but it’s useful.
Cheap and most effective Vitamins D3 5.000 - 10.000 IUs daily Magnesium 250-300 mg daily (try to get a compound like magnesium glycinate , or citrate)
Exercise. Get your heart beating fast at least twenty minutes a day. Weight lifting is probably best, but progressing to difficult cardio works too.
Sleep and drugs. Drugs, including alcohol and weed, disrupt your REM cycle of sleep, which will lead to anxiety, depression, and in extreme deprivation, hallucinations. You need to get 8 hours of high quality sleep, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If you can’t get off drugs completely, be sure to avoid doing them within 3 hours of your bedtime.
Food. Eat more meat, more veggies and less processed foods. Try to add fermented foods (pickles, sauerkraut, etc) or prebiotic foods like fruits to your diet. The health of your stomach will effect your mood. If you eat like like shit, you’ll feel like shit, simple as.
Do these things one at a time, if it’s too much at once. I’d start with the supplements, they’re cheap and extremely effective. Work on being a bit more active, while getting your sleep under control. With better sleep, you’ll make better food choices.
Godspeed user

Pharma money grab, ask about withdrawal symptoms, it's worse than just going without.
Gabriel Gutierrez
Don’t bother, I’ve been going to psychiatrist since I was about 7 and they’ve been useless just use my spectrum. Start with finding where you are now (on my spectrum) and then decide where you want to go (probably up if you’re depressed).
