I am too experienced in this unfortunately. Main thing is the variant report, which many try to hide, is YOUR property legally. ACLU set precedent in Utah over BRCA gene. IMHO Dante Labs is ALL I would use. Based in Italy but serves everywhere. Please know that variants are not always reported to ClinVar, a corrupt database that is almost worthless. If you are simply seeking ancestry then I suppose anything but 23&Me is ok.
