Yea but... Does it matter? I mean doesn't the Talmud basically just embody natural evolution... It was them or us all along, Christianity was only possible because of a stasis brought by lack of technology. A competitive edge of one tribe over another was inevitable at some point, and it makes sense that the tribe that knew this from the onset would come out on top.
