anybody else just come here out of habit at this point? I've gone back to spending more time on other boards. I don't even really read threads here I just look at the catalog and realize it's all been said before. Any beliefs that I hold are overpowered now by the fact that overwhelmingly I don't care anymore. Things get gayer and more retarded--it is what it is.

Yes kind of. Been spending more time on my favorite board. Even expanded to other boards but realized they're really fucking stupid. Any Forums and Any Forums have the smartest posters. That's not to say they're all smart, just that the smartest ones are very obviously there.

I come here for news, research and entertainment purposes. It is like my modern day equivalent of the 50s dad reading the newspaper every morning to stay up to date with happenings in the world.

It is the unfiltered nature that creates this allure. With such unfiltered outpour of human consciousness self-evidently comes a lot of spastic drivel, but also the occasional worthwhile opinion.
