Reddit has a forum called "AskHistorians". If anyone asks about conflict with Jews, they have a boilerplate response from the moderators which starts with:

This is "history" according to Redditors: one-sided, unfalsifiable, near-religious devotion to a radically pro-Jewish position (that is, Jews have never been even slightly at fault throughout the entirety of history when they came into conflict with other people). They should consider renaming their "AskHistorians" forum to "AskJudaism".

A historical answer without bias for Reddit to explain could be how because Jews weren’t really part of the communities they lived in, due to refusing to assimilate etc, they were the best option to hire for landlords who didn’t want to collect directly from the people. So when rents went up everyone blamed the Jews and would massacre them. This is the typical line in history books but it doesn’t make perfect sense since it happened hundreds of times so what, rich landowners just kept finding Jews to collect their rents and the Jews never wizened up even though they kept accepting the rent collector jobs that got all the previous Jews massacred??? The truth is Jews were driven out continuously for a variety of reasons because their entire culture is based around being overly critical of whatever dominant culture they inhabit.
