My generation is the product of a decline in our civilization spanning far before we were born, the turn of the century in fact. You could even blame the industrial revolution. The fact that 10s of millions of rural people became urbanised in just a few decades, working cosy jobs, factory jobs, and being surrounded by life simplifying products that relegated our human existence to "consume! consume!" has devolved our collective psyche into a less advanced consciousness. Add onto that, and another 10s of millions of our best people, both physical and mental, were thrusted into not 1 but 2 world wars, an intellectual, spiritual and historical meat grinder, leaving only the few best specimens of humanity alive, and far too many of the worst. Generation Z is a sacrificial lamb, we have been pre-manufactured, pre-destined and pre-disposed. We are the definition of a "product generation" to be bought and sold, and likely to be sacrificed for the upcoming WW3 with China and Russia. Our fate, our existence, is the doing of decades of incompetent generations before us. When the Greatest generation, who defeated the Nazis, conquering the world, handing it on a silver platter to their children, what did they do? Did they dedicate time and resources to advance humanity, to improve energy, life and happiness? No, they built the golden arches of Mcdonalds, enslaved the middle east for oil, murder millions of peasant farmers in Asia and held the world hostage with nuclear weapons. None of their accomplishments were even in the idea of advancement, we went to space because we were scared of Communism, because we had an ego not a goal, we decided to treat the black man as a human not because of moral attitude but because of the fear of violence, we did not enrich Europe we turned them into nothing more than puppets. 1/2

And generation after generation we got lazier, stupider, and more complacent, to now, us, the Zoomers. Now we are surrounded by unregulated mega corporations making billions, trillions collectively and not just us, but everyone gets pennies on the dollar, every facet of life is squeezing us dry, Zoomers, we have no prospects, no future. When our grandparents were having kids in their 20s, we are still kids in our 20s. Millions of young people are killing each other and themselves, why? Maybe it's because we exist in a pointless, nihilistic, sterile, crony-capitalist, hellscape that leaves little reason to live. All the meanwhile virtually all of our leaders are dying old men and women who are inconceivably out of touch with reality, believing "oh why can't we go back to the good ol' days?'' or "why can't these youngers work hard like I did?" when in their day they could own a car, a house/apartment and go to college while working at Mcdonalds, and were now rent is 2000$ a month, inflation is up by 9% making you choose gas or food and it was 10 to 15% cheaper to own a house in the GREAT DEPRESSION. And I am afraid to tell you this, but weak fathers make even weaker sons. Whatever the next great catastrophe is, and however many billions will perish, the survivors will be conditioned into becoming mindless Half Life Combine slaves, forever enslaved to their 1% masters. The age of freedom is over, and the age of slavery is just around the corner. I have no faith in humanity anymore, I express these concepts to my peers, and they just ignore me, it's like I'm surrounded by people completely incapable of intellectual thought and existentialism. It's like watching cows walk right into the neck clamps, only to have their throats slashed. 2/3
