4% inflation has been with us since 2014. It simply didn't feel that way due to the ubiquity of Chinese merchandise. But after the sanctions, and the supply chain constriction...that was when the beast had emerged. The dreaded 8% inflation (now 9%).

Inflation helps to devalue debt, and despte all the rhetoric and bitching by our politicians. THEY LOVE INFLATION because it kicks the can down the road. The higher cost of living is the consequences of decades of reckless spending, debt, that the boomers enjoyed. What we are witnessing is a debt crisis, and it's symptoms include inflation and the Central banks unable to combat inflation by raising interest rates because again...too much fucking debt.

I don't. I'd like to save money but I care about my family (the one person left of it, anyways) and contribute to their ciggie smoking habit like an absolute fucking retard. I'm building resentment, after taking care of them, waiting on them hand & foot, coming home and mowing/weed eating 4 acres. I just want to save money for a vacation or something to make my time left even remotely worth going to work for. But that doesn't seem possible. Fuck material things, but man I would like something to strive for.
