The US has to solve the racket problem before they can do single-payer. Right now the government is overcharged by 5-6x over what private insurance pays for the same service rendered.
"Free healthcare" would cost like 90% of the US GDP each year unless we correct prices which even the free market has been unable to do because of 100 years of government corruption in healthcare.
There's also no such thing as free healthcare the reason your europ poors are so poor is literally your fucking healthcare. You pay like 40-50% tax rates, you retards, and then you STILL have deductibles and co-pays.

No such thing as "free healthcare". You will end up with an amazingly corrupt sinkhole of taxpayers money that is totally useless and worse and thousandfold more expensive than having nothing at all. We have government healthcare, and every time i used their services, they just made my condition worse. Everyone who wants proper healthcare ends up using services of private healthcare providers / dentist. But you're right, free healthcare would be awesome.
