Nasa’s newly released successor to the Hubble telescope could answer key questions about universe
David Hernandez
Jason Young
How were they not able to fix the lens flare?
Landon Sullivan
Cooper Thompson
how far away is that stuff? answer pretty far. good to know
Luis Richardson
Far. The pictures are all showing the past. It takes millions of years for the light from there to reach us. We are only seeing what it was like long before we existed.
James Brooks
It takes billions for some
Brayden Davis
OMG ALIENS MIGHT EXIST ALL THOSE LIGHTS IN THE SKY MAKING RIGHT ANGLES AT 1000 MPH ARE WEATHER BALLOONS
Angel Campbell
>this question
>AGAIN
Look at the hubble photos. They still have lens flare too, its an artifact of how the light reflects into the sensor. Additionally, objects in the foreground are vastly overexposed to increase the brightness of far-off objects.
Colton Cook
Space is fake you utter retards
Mason Bell
the lens flare is added for special effect bro
Gavin Cruz
Remember when Radio technology was supposed to answer those same questions?
Leo Perry
How do you "fix" lens flare?
Caleb Garcia
That's the point of science. You try different shit. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
SETI still exists.
Parker Miller
NASA forgot to remove the Bahtinov mask before flight.
David Gutierrez
>still no actionable plans for manned space flight to the moon
>but we got a new DSLR though guys!!!
Wow. So we can have all the same photos Hubble took 20 years ago now with a slightly higher pixel density.
Such progress
Nathaniel Richardson
By using sensors that don't capture light in the same way as a hollywood video camera -- the kind of sensors that the telescope is supposed to be using.
Brandon Robinson
>that will be another $800 billions plus the tip, goy
Lucas Richardson
This isn’t “science” it’s photography. There will not be a single question answered by these “new” pictures
Adam Hill
greetings fellow telescope/astrophotography autist
Gavin Collins
Theyre on a very dark spot of the moon. Also a crater shadow. Protected them from radiation
Alexander Thomas
subhuman nigger cattle on this board will use this as a fact to say that space is real all while being unable to prove that gravity is even a thing or measure real extend of speed of the light
i found religion called science truly fascinated as it is the only one that is sustained by constantly increasing the bullshit by every single minute oh look another shiny light we have not seen before generated by computer amazing now i call that a proof of where life came from, fascinating
fascinating bwc slut is she into horses?
Henry Lewis
These are pictures taken to test the telescope. They haven't started the main work yet. Such as looking at far away exoplanets, which hubble was not capable of doing. The key capabilities of this telescope are not producing images, they're for gathering data. You are an impatient, ungrateful child and don't have a clue.
Parker Smith
Webb has already revealed hundreds of Galaxies far beyond Hubble's field of view. We may have found the solution to the "missing" mass of the Universe.
