This isn't inflation. The Fed prints bank reserves which aren't actually money. The government spent a bunch of treasury money into the system that lead to increased money velocity combined with unstable supply chains that then lead to supply shocks. Supply shocks are the reason everything costs so much. Strictly monetarily speaking private banks control money supply and use the Fed as cover to take the blame and the Fed gets to pretend it controls the world.
