So my country is planning to have mandatory military service for a year , any countries with such a system care to share their experience?
So my country is planning to have mandatory military service for a year...
Ayo this nigga just got drafted hahahahahahahahahaha
Rest in piss bozo
i know they wanted to do similar shit in lihuania. just go to doctor. say you depressed of some shit. problem solved. have to be absolute retard to do the services.
Young people will get to waste 1 year of their life, usually after high school or university
I swear that every time I see your flag, the central white band becomes thinner and the reds wider.
Here a Lithuanian men crying as a reaction to conscription
We have it here. First 2 months is basic traning for every soldier, then you can apply for specific departments. Depends purely what is the most interesting to you.
Sometimes we go train to forest for a week. You sleep in a tent with sweaty smelly men and you make sure to keep the fire in a fireplace (1h per person during night) + 1h per person per night scouting outside. So 2h without sleep during night every night. It sucks if your turns are firekeeping between 1-2am and scouting 4-5am. No proper sleep.
It is not that bad. Only a manchild finds it terrifying.
In here conscripts are used as security for public spaces and barely get to train shooting a gun but since your country is actually gonna fund army I doubt it’ll be anything like in here
This
Women will travel for a year to gain "experience" or instantly go pursue higher education while you're stuck doing the same boring tasks for multiple hours each day. Either avoid the draft by saying you're a a sleepwalker, have a problem with authority, have a disorder like bulimia or anti-social, wet your bed or whatever tf comes to your mind and then leave the country until too old to serve and never pay a dime or do it like you should but always do less than the minimum unless it's important. It's all a big show so they don't care how much you work or how well you do as long as you do well when someone important is watching. There's no reason to do stuff you should do 100 times 150 times if you could just do it 75 times. If you can't do some basic shit a trained monkey can do after repeating it for 75 times, you won't be able to do so after 150 times either
you can become a draft dodger like me. but you would need connections with authorized doctors and in the military registration office
Kek, mandatory vax got canceled so now they will try to take this route?
Furthermore, if anything has heavy in its name it means it will be driven and if it has light in its name it means you're the moron to carry it. Best if you get some supporting role that every civilian could do so you always have comfy life like kitchen, administration stuff or everything around driving or weather
it's easy if you are not weak and you don't live in Russia so you won't get raped
how many months you get?
I recommend it for every nation. Makes boys into men and often long friendships develop. For me the military was the way of getting out of the house and it helps a lot of lads realize they don't need their parents.
fags. anyway how come they didn't have to shave their heads and beards
yeah if you don't want a career in the military then you're just wasting time
same here. when covid lockdown started all the check points around the country had conscripts doing the job
They plan to make it 12 months with 1 month being off so 11
It's mandatory in switzerland, but a lot get opted out and do civil service instead. I had to do neither, got a stamp and told to fuck off because actual, doc-approved autism.
What i've heard from other people though, apparently it's shitty, depends on the division a bit. Most have a good time though, make friends and see other parts of the country. (You get appointed to a certain military base, specialized for your assigned role in the army)
The time is also quite short, 12 weeks i believe. Once a year, aou have 2 weeks (not kidding) of 'refresh training' until you have your hours completed. Some roles can do a 300 days service without pause though, then the once a year refresh falls off.
>inb4 flag
4chins somehow thinks i'm in germany instead of my actual home
you'll be fine
Yes so what you do is walk up to the sergeant and then kiss him on the mouth. Then you stand back and wink.
Quick military service.
No gain for men though.
It's interesting to see how much certain parents failed though when you realize that you're the only one knowing how to at least make a windsor knot or see the majority being unable to open a can with a pocket knife
We brought back conscription in 2015 I think. I was eligible but never called. Some of my friends got drafted and from their experiences it’s honestly not that bad. You get fed with good food, you get in shape, you learn about warfare and weapons of war and you get paid.
>with such a system
Sir-Yes-Sir this is the best time ever to enroll
