I insists that the folowing scenario is overwhelmingly possible.
user posts some fake pic on Any Forums one day, site goes down due to unrelated issues, comes back up. Either reverts to a slightly older database backup, or mods instantly remove ayy thread because it's obviously not supposed to be on Any Forums as per site rules.
This creates the assumption that the downtime was caused by the ayy thread.
Cult emerges, religion of the Reral Ayy Pic is born. Many such cases.
Also millions of newfags fall for the "pic deleted" pic and think that there was a pic that the mods or an AI deleted from individual posts, combined with larping anaons who claim "they have it but can't upload it".
