Technically the info is free if you know how to dig it up
Also freedom doesnt mean its free

This
Also OP, what process are you referring to

>freedom of information act
Ok, does it cost $2000 to request information on public services?

You can do it yourself for free.
Just like you can be your own doctor for free.

It's a very difficult process that more or less requires a lawyer.
$2,000 is a rough estimate.
You might be able to hire someone for less.

Why did they make this sketch look like anime?

You can't be your own doctor for free how do you write yourself scripts for free?

Up here in Canada we technically have a "right to repair" law for cars. But it's still legal to hide that info behind a subscription paywall. For example, Kia used to provide their tech database for free but now they charge like $1000/year.

I dunno how relevant are they for modern cars but I always found Haynes Manuals a great resource on getting shit done

None of the big repair manual companies make one for my model. I did eventually end up finding a free service manual online but it's literally just the one site and I'm worried they'll take it down some day. Gotta figure out how to download it all at some point. It's like 500 pages so I can't do it one page at a time.

NO IT FUCKING ISNT, you retarded chimp. I’ve submitted at least 30 by myself, via Gmail, no template or anything. I’ve requested from departments all over the US.

Remember when the Clintons bathroom started on fire in like 2016? FOIA’d that report. They said it was an exhaust fan. I followed up and requested the arson report and it was almost blank. Fishy…

Remember around the same time when there was a fire in Trump tower? FOIA’d that as well. NYPD refused that one citing some bullshit.

But it’s fucking easy. I’ll send an example next. Stop being a helpless twonk.

No, it doesn’t. Anyone can do it, no lawyer, for free. They can’t even make you fill out a specific form or anything lol

It is free though. They can only charge you for copies if you want to take them with. They have to provide access to review the docs tho. I always just get them as copies, most I’ve paid is like $35 for a shit ton of pages

That's not true at all. You literally just e-mail a public information office of a government department and ask for any information on X and say that it's a FOIA request.

Anybody can do this for free. Are you a retard?

Ayo fuck em yankes and their rules

When you gonna learn fool?

That’s what I’m fucking saying… you’d have to be an actual retard to pay a lawyer for a FOIA… but now that I think of it, that could be a super lucrative field… hmmm

lol. It's a letter to the relevant agency asking for info on topic. That's it. No set format.

I prefer Chilton's.

exactly, you're more than welcome to go to a law library for free
