I've been lonely all my life and embraced it. Having friends is useless and a waste of time that will eventually bring you pain.

It seems the only real way someone can deal with being alone is to possess some degree of schizoidness. Everything else is a coping mechanism

There is no such thing. Lonely is for chicks. The male equiv would be boredom which is way worse. Don't fall for the romcom loser larp. men don't do lonely as a matter of psychology. You're not lonely you just haven't seen anything good lately and that's boring of course.
