China has more wealth than America, more manpower, more loyalty, more influence, more control, and If Russia sides with them, which is likely, they have far more nukes.
We could knock down the 3 gorges dam but even so... If China decides to go to war with the US it will get real ugly, real quick.
As far as will they? Hard to say really. China seems content where they are now and the US is not in any position to push. To be honest, China already owns a ton of American companies. It's more likely they'll buy us rather than they'll conquer us.

Honestly hard to say. Conflicting sources both ways. It’s either news about how weak and incompetent China is or how they’re some malicious super power and the world will need to bend their knees soon. I guess it’s some where in the middle. Not enough of a threat to change the west, but enough to cause some serious disruption and it’s growth needs to be curtailed

That's very true. At current trajectoris, they'll turn us into the geopolitical equivalent of rice farmers simply by being so much more financial powerful. By purchasing power adjusted GDP (a better metric than GDP) they've already surpassed the US.
There is a solution to this and it's Trump's slowly escalating tariffs -- which were crippling chinese manufacturing and would have slowly rebuilt our own -- but he never got his second term and now Biden is rolling back those tariffs.

We are in a position to push: it's called Taiwan. All we have to is militarize Taiwan or push for formal independence and China will be forced to try to take it.
Neocons actually want to do this and it's not as retarded a plan as Ukraine as Taiwan is no Ukraine. Taiwan is a heavily urbanized, mountaineous island. That's about as difficult as it gets and China could cripple itself trying to take Taiwan.
That said, the economic devastation from a war with China will probably be great depression tier for us.

Not really, they are a threat because they are unpredictable and desperate, the CCP I mean. They are poise to take over as the dominant country thanks the WEF sabotaging all the other world nation but the problem is that they too have to stave off a revolution of there own as well. Think about all the live leak videos of china you have seen. You think they the Chinese population aren't already at the boiling with their government, fear is the only thing keeping them in line and the moment they get to a point where not even that can keep them at bay it's game over. This is why the CCP has to try some really desperate and sloppy political plays in order to speed up the process of them winning.
