This town is prob 300 years old. The oldest city out West prob dates to the 1800s and it likely got bulldozed to make way for parking lots and highways. It's why New England towns are comfy, they're older and mostly intact.

Alot of our old towns and buildings have been totally destroyed in favor of newer ones. The civil war also fucked up the south beyond belief, and caused them to lose a lot of their old architecture.
The North-East is very pretty though and still retains a lot of its old architecture.

The Tunnels under Guanajuato are super interesting to me.
The tunnels were originally put in place to reduce flooding and a river of water (and sewage) ran through it until 50 years ago. A dam was then built and the previous water channel was converted into a road for vehicles and pedestrians.

Did i hit a nerve? Civilizations shouldn't be living off your ancestors' glory, but pushing forward and trying to improve. As a turd-worlder, i can assure you that the sole reason these 3rd world countries even bother to keep these older buildings up is to get restoration projects for public spending, so it's not about "SOVL", it's about jewish schemes, as they say here.

Are you talking about the brazilian south region? Yeah, it's a cope from macacos. The fact there's little isolated german communities in the south doesn't mean that the rest of the country isn't muttified beyond salvation.
