Why do Europoors hate America so much again? Is it because we are everything you aspire to be and more?

I figure in my situation the best SHTF scenario is to have a decent sized used sail boat. When it goes down you can sail out to sea with a stock of dry goods. Catch fish to eat. Not need petroleum would make it the prime escape vessel from the chaos.
