We will not support the creation of an authoritarian state. If you create the authoritarian state however, we will have no qualms hijacking it and turning it against you.

The priorities of most rational people are:

This is why media tries to make everything into a racial issue btw. Once you allow "limited" censorship for "racially sensitive issues", you incentivize making everything into a racially sensitive issue to expand the domain in which you can apply those censorial powers. This is why you get all the dumb buzzfeed tier articles about how random shit like bass fishing, rock climbing, bog snorkling etc are all plagued with systemic whiteness. They weren't given the power to censor these things, but if they can make these things into racially sensitive issues, they have granted that power to themselves. Since there is no limit to what they can declare a racially sensitive issue, there is now no limit to how much power they can grant themselves, and those "limited" censorial powers suddenly become unlimited. This is why free speech must be viewed as absolute and binary. There can be no limited censorship, because limited censorial powers can always be expanded via the mechanism outlined above, with no upper bound, and this limited censorship always leads to unlimited censorship in practice.
