More broadly it's phthalates. BPA is a phthalate but there are many more out there in soaps, shampoos, canned food liners, plastic food wrappings, pizza boxes, and tons of other things you wouldn't think of.

It it’s slightly tricky to replace them. Laundry soap I’ve replaced with soap nuts. The rest I have managed to find alternatives but it’s tricky because they still use plastic bottles, and even the glass or metal bottles you can buy have plastic pumps or lids

I really want a reverse osmosis water filter for the whole house but can’t afford it yet. I hate buying packaged water bottles but that’s better than tap for now
