I’ve started noticing a trend that the Media which hates both Desantis and Trump for having similar views is constantly pivoting them against each other as if there is great animosity between them. Is this divide and conquer?

There will be animosity. Trump isn't going to support DeSantis. DeSantis will eventually say negative stuff about Trump if he runs. It isn't divide and conquer it's the natural way primaries work. No, it’s because Trump is too popular. Trump will absolutely win if he runs in 2024. There are too many changes to voting laws (and more on the way) which will limit the amount of fraud they’ll be able to get away with. Dems and especially Biden are not popular which is why they don’t want Biden (or Harris) on the ticket but they don’t have anybody who can beat Trump. So they have to make sure he doesn’t run. The January 6th hearings are trying to disqualify him. You have Elon Musk and others saying to step aside and others like Rogan want DeSantis. But DeSantis is practically a for-sure loss.
