When I was in Germany I never paid the Rundfunksbeitrag and thousands of others don't pay it either. It's 100% an honor system thing, but the entire prospect of the government demanding that you pay money to private corporations for services that you don't use is utterly preposterous on so many levels. Those kikes didn't get a single red euro cent from me.

In Poland you also have to pay a yearly fee to legally use radio and TV, but in reality nobody pays it since 1989 beside some old boomers from countryside. The state is unable to enforce this fee and for 30 years the next governments debate over reforming and enforcing this. To this day, collecting this fee is outsourced to... Polish Post and theoretically the mailman is supposed to check if you have in your house radio/tv and don't pay for it.
