The important thing to remember is you DO NOT want to fight the Army. The Army has not tried to destroy your country, change your form of government, or brought misery upon you. You have to take it to the people that have done this to win. From media, to pharma execs, to politicians, to rich white liberals, FBI faggots, etc. These are the people that are eager to bring misery and suffering upon others as long as they have immunity from being held accountable for their actions. It all depends on whether political means as it applies to state governance actually works.
Civil War 1.0 was due largely because southern states felt that they were not being duly represented in the federal system. The official narrative will tell you it's solely about slavery, but slavery was something of an example of how the union used it's power to override the powers of the states in a way that was against the southern states' interests.
I'm not sure either side really wants it to come to that, but as long 'the north' continues to marginalize 'the south' it inches us closer.

Most Americans don't really feel any loyalty to America. They love THEIR homes, THEIR neighborhood, THEIR family, THEIR religion, and THEIR race. Those who are patriotic are in love with the "idea" of America, but the actual FedGov is another beast. People don't rebel because they think things are better in the USA than out of it, but if the dollar collapses or people start to really feel the money stealing (or depreciating) corruption of the FedGov they will rebel almost instantly. The question to the FedGov will be "what have you done for us lately?" If the answer is nothing (or worse) then people will start to fight.
It's not north/south this time. It's real productive people in rural areas, against city elites who do almost nothing but steal wealth from everyone else (and their idiot servants).

As in an actual shooting war? Pretty low, but not non-existent. It wholly depends on how bad the incoming recession is and how bad inflation gets, and whether it gets to great depression levels. If things get so bad large swathes of our population are becoming homeless and having trouble getting food by the time of the next election, things could deteriorate to the point where cultural groups decide to become de-facto independent to try and solve the crisis, which the Govt will no doubt attempt to violently suppress.
