Apart from the "we can now see images of things we already saw before but at 16X the detail", it is "we can see into exoplanets light years away, we might find one habitable & be able to reach it one day". It really is hilarious, tech that will be redundant & will be superseded & humans will still be stuck in LEO for decades to come. Can't even keep borders secure never mind advance beyond Earth.
