Did Lincoln and the north actually think they would be normal and civilized in society instead of not working while eating up welfare and causing the most violence in the world every town they’re in?
Why did Lincoln and the north want to free the slaves?
Like all liberal ventures they did it because it made them brielfy get to feel like Marvel characters, ignoring the consequences (because only poors have to deal with them)
The north wasn't united on the topic. It took a second vote to pass the 13th Amendment, and obviously that's without the 11 southern states voting. There are plenty of quotes from northern politicians essentially saying "this could be a big mistake, time will tell", "we may regret it" etc
I thought he wanted to send them to central america and thought the white race was superior
I don't know about that. But, there were racist abolitionists.
Plus, even in the founding of the nation it was thought that slavery would be a institution that would have to die out someday.
They didn't. They just didn't want to expand it. The south just used slavery as an excuse to secede but the truth is the Rothschilds wanted the south to secede
Plus, Europe wasn't so into it anymore. You have to remember they were a part of the trade. It was a triangle after all and they did benefit from it.
to send them to africa, as he said in 1858
Da joos.
Northern Jews wanted to crush the south's economy
20 acres and a mule as well. That didn't happen either.
Are the rothschilds not Jews?
It was more of a states rights issue. The north didn't like the idea of individual states making their own decisions.
They (Lincoln and abolitionists) hated blacks. Lincoln instituted and funded contraband camps for escaped slaves; he saw them as property, and since they ran away from their owners, they were considered contraband and were sent to these camps where they were worked to death. Most abolitionists “hated” slavery because if continued, it would keep blacks here; they wanted blacks gone entirely. Liberals would have you believe that abolitionists were fighting slavery on moral grounds, but that’s mostly bullshit. Lincoln tried to pacify the South when the seceded with the Corwin amendment, which would have codified slavery, but the South refused, as slavery was already on its way out; the civil war was started over cotton tariffs and ridiculously imbalanced federal spending.
Wrong. It was about controlling America's bank
See
i know but my question is were blacks normal back then? like normal people or were they the same animals they are today and they just didn’t care
the war of northern aggression was about spreading the political influence of puritan (now quite post-puritan) seminary harvard
negroes were entirely incidental, had they not been around fanatical maniacs like john brown would have found some other excuse
The South didn’t even really use it as an excuse. Why bother? The South was pretty clear about their anger over where their taxes were going. Today is no different; San Francisco, New York, Boston, and other liberal strongholds suck up tax money and hold political power while everyone else is stuck with the check.
Wrong about European banking Jews trying to take over. Rothschilds bankrolled the Southern currency and tried to get European powers to intervene on the South's side
What taxes? The only federal taxes were tariffs and there was only one southern city in the top 10 contributes to tariffs
They were. But, what's loaded behind it isn't that they happened to be Jews, but because they were Jews.
The only one who mentioned them being Jews were you. So are you going to prove me wrong or deflect the argument?
Then suburbs suck up money out of cities.
If that's the case then you could forgive me for thinking otherwise being on Any Forums and all.
There were tariffs on just about every major southern export, and next to none of that money was getting spent on any public works back in the south. They seceded over their money getting spent elsewhere. Partly, anyway. I haven’t heard the stuff about the Rothschild family meddling in the south.
