I'd learn a different language. yes, reading dostoyevski and nabokov are probably best in their native tongue, but there are so many good translations available for russian work. modern russia produces nothing of note, unless you are deep into infosec/cybersecurity. so unless you are dealing with that one particular field, russian is just a useless language. I say that because the only places in which russian is useful are in countries in which you'd already know russian, so wouldnt be asking this question. abandon it and learn something else.
