They always see Norway as some magical socialist democracy where everyone is welcome, everyone is rich and everything is free including the money. When in reality we have media and a government that reeks of corruption and globalism, and the population is largely homogeneous and wary of outsiders.

we can't even find you on a map. only reason we might have a thing for norway is because epcot used to have a ride called malestrom at disney orlando. they staffed the ride with hot norwegian exchange students, and it was about epic shit like polar bears, trolls, and oil rigs. shit was cash. had a sick movie, too. desu I traveled to norway later in life because I went on that disney ride as a kid and then wanted to see the stuff like the viking museums in person.
norwegian government pulled the funding or something though a few years ago, and the ride got replaced with some elsa in norway thing, but yea the pavilion used to host norwegian dignitaries and all sorts of shit back in the 90s/2000s.
