I run a bar in the very southern part of rural Norway.
A couple of weeks ago, some Russian youngsters that happened to be working on some road project around these parts, was almost jumped and beaten senseless by other patrons. We had to escort them out into taxies.
I just wonder, when will Russians just go back to be considered normal people again, and not be treated as if they were Germans in 1939?

Not at all.
But they were proud of being Russian so to speak. Very pro Putin, but not necessarily pro Urkaine-invasion.
In the Norwegian narrative, Russia has always been a threath to us, but their evident willingness to invade neighboring European countries has only amplified that sense of threath.
So practicaly, this has transalated into a general suspicion of anything Russian. Which is I personaly feel sad about. I have Russian friends. And my father has worked in Russia, with Russians, and as I've learnt to know these people, I genuinly feel saddened at the point we're at relation-wise.

We have a lot of Polish immigrants around here and they all hate Russia too. I get the historical differences but it's going to be either Russia/China or ZOG, is ZOG really better? Although, they should probably know to keep their political opinions to themselves in foreign countries, it can be interpreted as disrespectful even if you agree with them in theory. Not saying I would attack them ofc.
