Why did plant-based meat fail?

It was supposed to save the world from climate change? It was the next big thing until it wasn't. What specifically went wrong in the last year?

turns out people prefer meat not estrogenic shit.

veganism is a trend

>uhm ackchually the price drop is a good thing! it means that it will be cheaper for everyone!

Heh. Every time the ceo went on the business channels the stock fell

Onions shortage

Get ready for Beyond Bugs

>More expensive or equally priced as real meat
>Not as tasty
It's almost as if most people out there aren't weirdo vegan $0Y loving freaks.

COVID fatigued normies on compromising their quality of life "for the greater good." Veganism has a bit of a PR problem even in receptive circles due to a mass exodus of online personalities from the movement and it being fundamentally incompatible with cultural relativism.

Because it's gross. Why they didn't use beans as a base is beyond me.

If you wanna eat plants and vegetables whatever but to have this bio-sloppa and to try and form it into meat shapes is just stupid either eat meat or vegetables whatever but this is ridiculous

I’m a vegetarian but I will never eat that shit, it smells weird like cardboard. I have never had meat in my life so I don’t know what it tastes like or have any desire to eat it, so I don’t need replacement fake meat

beyond isn't made of beans????

can you elaborate on this, I don't pay attention to e-celebs but probably should so I can notice these things

nobody wants to eat that onions filled ultra-processed, seed-oil leaking garbage... i talked to a butcher at a grocery store and he told me they're required to carry it but it always expires and ends up in the dumpster. It was nothing more than a fad.

it's made of rancid seed oil

I didn’t think these were that bad, the only kind I ever had though was a whopper and the whopper sucks anyways

All of the whores and soi boys trying to market being vegan gave up and went back to eating meat. Many also made videos saying it gave them health problems, made them weak, fat etc. The trend is mostly over now

It’s a large quantity of vegetable and nut oils mixed with chemicals in order to produce the vague flavor of meat. It’s disgusting and unhealthy. Just eat a salad or some roasted vegetables if you hate meat so much.

>Beyond Bugs
Fucking kek, you should patent it before somebody tries to do this, you know somebody will

They're marketed to regular people instead of vegans so
>vegans won't touch it because it's processed to hell
>meat eaters won't touch it because it looks fucking disgusting

I don't follow eceleb drama either, but I imagine that something like Atheism+ happened.

They probably tried to create Vegan+ and started pushing a bunch of tranny shit, inadvertently creating a schism in the community for the people who just wanted to talk about not eating meat, but don't want to talk about eating ass and cutting off dicks.

THIS IS A B8 AND BOT THREAD IVE LITERALLY SEEN IT BEFORE. ANONS DONT REPLY

One of my vegan friends gave up and became a regular vegetarian after a year or so. Shit isn't meant to last until the end of life

Because it’s unhealthy and doesn’t taste as good as real meat. Also literally who was asking for cheap imitation “”””””meat””””” in the first place? The best vegetarian food is that which doesn’t try to imitate a meat dish.

This
>continues eating hormone saturated frankenmeat

I don't want to sound like a sourcefag but I would have some entertainment at work tomorrow if you could point me to a video/channel of one of these people who went through the cycle. Especially one who had health problems.
