I did the hard work and hand shake thing. Ten years ago an employer i had been with a while. Boss loved me . Started ramping up production. And for about 9 months it was mandatory OT 12-14 hour days 6 days a week. Food processing and i lifted the boxes onto the line. Well one day my back stops working. I hear chicken wing snapping sounds. I am incapacitated. I says i gotta go lay down. My manager is pissed. For a week i cant get out of bed except to crawl to the toilet. Everyday i call my boss no answer. I leave messages and texts what am I supposed to do? I see a tv lawyer talking about being hurt on the jobsite. Call them and file workmans comp. Workmans comp is terrible in my right to work state. You cant pick the dr. You must do as the DR says. Dr refuses to get mri or xrays. Says hes sure ive torn ligaments in my back. And dislocated a rib. Puts me on light duty at work and prescribes rehab when I get off work. No med insurance so i have no option. Rehab was making it worse. My boss was trying to get me to quit or hit him. Lawyer is utter bullshit cant do anything. For 9 konths i lifted at least 16 pallets a day on that line sometimes 20. 16 pallets at 2500lbs is 40k lbs. 20 tons. Only thing i have to show for it is a trick rib that goes out when its cold or I sneeze too hard. Lifelong back pain.

I realized when i was 21 and had an NDE. But, as things are, I've had my ventures into attempting to make money to get out of the cess pit. Every one of my attempts just takes me back to the same place. There is no economy after 2008. There is no political solution. All that matters is staying healthy and preparing for ragnarok.

Most rich families lose all of their wealth by the third generation; the only people who really seem to maintain it are the people who think ahead and plan for their family's future, or the remnants of organized crime, who have the intention and need to make sure they don't drop their handle on power.

Learned helplessness will do literally nothing to resolve this problem of being cashless, so stop wasting time and actually make something of your life.
