What's with all the talk about 3d printed guns lately?

It has been swarming everything these days. Are they really going to take my 3d printer away?

dont they fail after one shot anyway?

ask abe

eh good point I didn't think of it that way.

Jews hate things they cannot control

I’m curious about trying to make or obtain one

I don't even think his gun even had any 3D printing

The glowniggers are glowing as hard as they can

No, but when homebuilt guns come up in conversation people always focus on printing these days because normies can't operate a drill press and think printers are magic and just do all the work for you.

That thing was a zip gun.

we have to ban duct tape NOW!

No, this is a zip gun.
What was used on Abe was an electrically fired double barrel black powder pistol.

i mean technically they do
But i agree with your point

when amerifats talk about muh 3d printued guns, they basically only talk about lowers, because thats what a gun is in america.

In the rest of the world, the upper/barrel are considered "the gun", while there are ways around it, see fcg9 with barrel etching and so on, it a lot harder outside of the us to "3d print" a gun.

Making good, functional parts is not just a question of pushing a button. You have to learn a lot of stuff.

The goal posts keep getting pushed further and further, man.

the problem with plastic uppers is always heat, while they work on "Low intensity" shots, under "normal" conditions they will heat up and lose stability.

Whats maybe interesting, no one tried to water cool it, it should be quite easy to integrate water cooling channels into the design as its quite easy possible to print it that way.

For the purposes of fucking with tyrants, even the shittiest PLA upper I've seen tested would be adequate.

No, that information is over 10 years outdated, noob.

It's actually a lot harder than that, no printers

explosives are easier to come by and are far more devastating.

California is in the process of making CNC machines and billets of metal illegal, so why should the democracy let you have a assault printer of mass destruction?

That's harder to experiment with legally.

Generally more illegal and more dangerous to learn, though. Also less range.

That's part of the problem, you can't be precise with explosives.

A gun can shoot a guard or cop standing on the street, without hurting anyone else, a bomb can't.

It'd be interesting to see one made from forged carbon. Some of the higher temperature resins can take a lot of punishment

>CNC machines and billets of metal illegal
kek, i wanna see how they gona enforce that. make all stepper motors illegal? make all microcontrollers illegal? make aluminum extrusions illegal?

I somewhat envy their schizophrenic ability to paranoialy anticipate every possible way somebody could cause harm and try to ban it
>inb4 they haven't banned cars yet
They are in the process of putting a kill switch in every electric vehicle, and those will be mandated by the government by 2035
It'd be impressive if it wasn't so mentally deranged

they'll make property illegal
i wish i was joking

The network to track sales of printers and the resin are all in place to trap and capture 'de terrorist'.
For real, (((they))) want you to act up in violence .

No, for plenty of counterevidence, see NAVI of Boomhandia.
