It seems like everything's coming to a head these past few years, there's some spans of relative peace and quiet, but holy fuck it seems like everyday something big has to happen. I have a great job that gets me 5k a month after tax, but that doesn't mean shit if I get drafted for another homo-war, die, and have my body raped and burned alive -- or be stabbed to death by some gang member. I just want this to end, I want to be comfy again. Every time something good happens, a bad thing is always waiting.

I also have a dog and he's getting pretty old. His time will come soon and it'll crush me. BUT, where society is heading, and heading there at a rapid pace. It's probably best not to have too many people/pets you need to take care of. If things get as bad as they can, it'll be a struggle just for you to survive.
