Why can't they just figure it out? Most of us had lolbert ideology at one point in our lives because it was the only socially acceptable alternative to neoconservatism and shitlibbery, but now we have the internet and you can learn about ideas that actually make sense and are congruent with human nature. We should be having debates between monarchists, fascists, etc. yet these fucking lolberts keep hanging around like a weed that just won't just die already. They seemed to be gone after the 2016 election, but then they came back with a vengeance when the lockdowns started.

These are all liberalism. Just different flavors. Liberalism comes out of the enlightenment and all it means at the end of the day is a rejection of hierarchy and authority. That's why liberalism changes its stripes every 1-2 generations. It doesn't have any fixed, unchanging principles besides looking at whatever system is in power and declaring it to be immoral

Because they don't realize that they will not be left alone while they are in fact, somewhat left alone. Libertarians are obnoxious as a whole because they have this freedom first mindset but nothing they do is threatening to the system. Guns and weed are legal. Walking around drunk at 2am in your boxer shorts on your 5 acre lot is legal. Modifying your cars exhaust is not likely to matter. Despite their bluster, little that they do is not permitted or tolerated. It is when a libertarian is told no for the first time, or finds himself unable to do something he wishes to do without incurring consequences that he begins to radicalize. Since most libertarians will not soon put down their ps5 controllers and forego their 2pm bowl of cereal as a lunch after their nineteenth bong rip of the day, they are unlikely to find themselves in that situation. Thus, they will remain politically useless allies to literally anyone, up until exactly th moment they encounter the ideological adversity that will inevitably push them further right and make them give up childish things to pursue more intense interests, approaches and hobbies.
