Honest Question that I've always wondered about:
Do professors in bullshit areas of study (Like Philosophy or Gender Studies) know that they're full of shit or do they buy into the propaganda, too?
Like does a guy teaching about diversity to a classroom full of young people know that he's not actually giving them a skill that'll get them a job? If so, how do they live with themselves being such hacks?
College professors are just shit posters with a smaller possible audiences, and they depend on (you)'s to get a paycheck. Literally just trolls and bots.
None of them could get a real job themselves. All their self worth is tied up in their bullshit propaganda, so of course they believe it. They are also emotionally invested because they are motivated largely by revenge. They can use their position to limit the future of white males who were good at sports and the SAT, and who rightfully bullied them in high school.
my Psych 101 prof in VERY diverse class of Spics, Gooks, Arabs, Nigs, Poos, you fucking name it did a big thing about diffs between M/F brains and the whole class understood brain diffs by race was tabboo AF even though it was text book diff between Orientals and Nigs.

You have to understand a couple of things.
First. They are completely insulated from reality. They don't come across alternative views, ever. All their colleagues have the same views, all their friends have the same views, everything they watch, read tells them their views are normal and acceptable.
They live in a bubble which is not connected in any way to reality or how the real world works.
This lack of connection feeds back on itself over time and without correction their ideas get further and further away until they are batshit insane. As now.
As these people are influential, being accredited, they eventually cause systemic collapse.

philosophy is a pretty decent major actually. not the best, but solid. at any decent university it will be very math heavy. there is a reason why philosophy majors do really well on the LSAT. plenty of philosophy majors go into analyst roles, in addition to law being common.
but ya philosophy coursework isn't just bullshitting about Kant or whatever, it's a ton of math and logic.

Former lecturer here in Philosophy. I left academia to go work at a bank because academia is a shitshow. To answer your question - no. They don't know they are full of shit, but a lot of what is taught in philosophy is historical ideas about what the mind is or what existence is. There is a bunch of Philosphy that is not pozzed. Continental philosphers are generally full of shit and they don't know it.

I was a professor, I taught actual knowledge (STEM) , They (soc "sciences") would actually think they were smarter than us, I left academia over 15 years ago because I could see where it was going academically and I couldn't in good conscience be involved in a pyramid scheme.
I reckon less than half of my graduates had jobs to go to in the industry

I teach university civics. To counteract this I generally direct them to asking more critical questions than a normie take is. E.g. "Disney disagreed with DeSantis on his policy and views regarding 'Don't say gay.' Why then when he revoked their special tax status, did those who typically favor higher taxes on corporations defend Disney against a higher tax margin?"

I imagine some are profiting off of clown world. Most are probably just losers. In their fragile egos they think if a group is less successful then its because another group is oppressing them. But if both groups are truly equal then why is one group beating them up? Would they not learn to play the game just as well and figure out how to counter them? They will wave away the obvious explanation with some complex rhetoric which is parroted by the fraudsters to keep their jobs and classes. At the end of the day the "oppressed" groups jump on the bandwagon because they get free shit by crying and complaining.
Yeah I was a philosopher involved in academic life and I've come to the same conclusion. I now work as a strategic advisor in a company.
The biggest issue I found was 90% of philosophy only cares about what a 300 year old book "actually" meant. Most of them argue about what a dead author truly meant in his lifework, writing thousands of pages on something that doesn't matter, failing to see the true value of philosophy, which is to train your mind to think in different ways in order to approach the world as aptly as possible.

Here's an interesting experiment I'd suggest to people. Go to the Council on Foreign Relations' roster, just as one example, and start inserting random names into google and wikipedia. Do that for a few hours or something to see how many of these people are academics. How many presidents of universities, deans of university departments and professors that you come across. You will be quite surprised. When I went to my university, the president of my university was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Mane, my department is infiltrated with CFR types. When I finish to find some grants that explicity try to undermine the influence of the CFR-Anne Applebaum types and expose them. A Frankfurt School for the goyim, if you will.
