Bookshelf '95 was a collection of dictionaries, the entire World Encyclopedia, all kinds of reference manuals and information that for the most part were written before the internet existed. Before you call me a schizo, language, history and information is what shapes our society, in fact it shapes reality. Here is an example of what I'm talking about, the screenshot shows the definition of "female" from Webster's Dictionary in 1995 vs the definition from Webster's in 2022. 1995 is correct, 2022 is Marxist misinformation designed to alter the REALITY that only biological women can be female. No mention of "gender" in the 1995 definition.

Because I have my own collection of DICT dictionaries. I use the free (libre) and open source GoldenDict to group and search multiple dictionaries at the same time. I will not install proprietary crap. I have full control. Not a dictionary collection that you tell is better, but a dictionary collection I created. Just like Gab is not the answer for Twitter, this proprietary crap is not the answer against modern web dictionaries.
