Monsanto says it's safe. The leviathan megacorp that owns all farms. They literally bioengineered crops to be sprayed with roundup and forced farmers to use their seeds. But researchers have demonstrated the link between glyphosate and cancer for years but Monsanto keeps winning in court because they're a multibillion dollar corporation. Monsanto is top 5 most evil companies on earth. All the top executives should be publicly executed while people throw contaminated vegetables from their genetically engineered crops at them.
When potatoes are harvested the entire field is sprayed with Round-Up to kill the plants so it's easier to harvest. Think about how many potatoes you eat a year. A fucking lot.

Glyphosate products are banned in France, for the general population at least. That's a shame because it was the only herbicide I've used that proved to be efficient. Since the ban, I've tried countless brands, and none of those work, at all, they just don't do shit, they are just some kind of placebo products that they sell instead of roundup, might as well replace it with salt water (it might even be more efficient than the shit they are selling).
Roundup was the only herbicide worth a shit, and now we have nothing to use in our gardens to prevent those shitty herbs from growings. I have to ressort to pulling them out, but since new ones appear every few days, if I don't pull them out everyday, after one week it's as if I didn't do anything at all.
Fuck the French state, give me back Roundup. I don't give a fuck about glyphosate, the US and most of the world has been using DDT for decades and no one ever gave a shit. Glyphosate is much less harmful.

The specific genetic modification allows the plant to avoid harm when coming in contact with glyphosate. They spray glyphosate to kill all the other weeds in the field.
