Why did jews leave the middle east, north africa etc for Europe rather than the other way around? Even Hitler didn't kill the jews, he let them all leave for the US. The US elite wouldn't be composed of ex-Weimar jews if Hitler was killing them all. He only stopped letting them leave once the war started, and this is completely rational because at that point letting them go to the US was a security risk, no different from what the problem the US itself faced with its japanese population.
