Africa never developed compared to any other culture. They had primitive, borderline stone age culture all the way up until they were contacted and dominated by the developed world. And progressive media sources, like Wikipedia, routinely play word games to exaggerate their development to make Africa's subjugation seem more cruel than it actually was, like saying they were literate, like saying Zimbabwe was a grand city. In reality, Africa is one of the biggest resource troves on the planet, and the native Africans will never use any of it, so we have a moral imperative to take it and use it to support real civilization.
