So I got uncle that is a hunter and talked to me about the grain situation in Poland as he spends time in rural buddies. He told me that almost all of ukrainian grain that passes to Poland is being bought up by Poles at some meme 50% prices and that everyone is filling up their silos to the max and building up as much storage facilities as possible. Nobody believes in that any major % of that grain will be delivered to Africa or Middle East as railway transport is already at full capacity and there's been truck / truck drivers shortage since corona and it's just physically impossible to do that. So every fucking farmer / storage facility owners are buying ukrainian grain like crazy to have big profit later. Also polish farmer are worried about their harvest this year as almost all silos are almost filled, prediction is that they will sell it at some hyper inflated prices to the western EU. Eastern provinces of Poland are already filled to the max with grains and it's moving to the west filling next silos / storage facilities. In times when half of the world will be starving to death Poland might end up as a Jew that is rationing the food supply at the inflated prices lmao. Also ukro grain is piss cheap, because EU disbanded protective policies on imported food from Ukraine + they are desperate for cash because of war.
