Now that Fender has gone woke and their players all are queer/transsexual, what's a good based guitar company to buy from?

My BC Rich rules.

Just buy custom equipment.

>this one goes to 11

do you have the "oy veys - kevetchin" one?

I'd say my guitars, but I don't want to reveal my powerlevel and ruin sales with normies.

gives us a clue, bro, something that only FRENS on a CHAN (imageboard) could understand. For example, if there was a thread in said chan, in the /art/ board, talking about the Call of the Crocodile book, you could say in there something that might guide us to your shop

Jackson, ESP, Yamaha...

why would I give a shit what their players are like? they don't stamp down troon flags on the assembly line

If you’re not playing Paul Reed Smith, you’re not playing.

every company will fall to pressures from ESG, there is no greater incentive.

If Gibson isn’t pozzed yet, go with them

blackrock/vanguard going at it

yeah Larry Fink basically dictates where the market will go, what messaging to push, what products to ban.
Go woke go broke is goddamn retarded, id almost call it a form of containment, just assume this and dont look any further.

I play a 2001 LP standard through a Vox. Never liked to sound of Strats anyway.

>Fascist Vice
based

Ah shit i was going to buy a fender rodondo too

Gibson
Washburn

Why go to eleven? Can't you simply make 10 as loud as eleven?

Hmm what? I didn't see that one, did FenderTM go woke? I wouldn't be surprised.

Correct answer.

THE Fender was from 1949 to around 1968 (or whenever the CBS buyout was). Leo then worked with Musicman (i.e. OP's pic) and then his own new company with G&L. Anyone who wants a "real" Fender would do well to go along that path. Leo, in all of his genius (no sarcasm), allowed his designs to be used publically by other companies. There are people who make them just the way Leo did with fucking bandsaws and beltsanders, all by hand, just as a cottage industry of boutique luthiers. You can get EXACTLY what you want, at a higher quality, with (usually) a lower comparative price.

The only reason you "need" a brand name guitar is for gigging with strangers who will judge you only if you can't hack it and your gear is broken/trash. Even then, you don't "need" a fender or gibson, and if your tone is dialed in and your playing holds up, you can play on anything! Mexican Fenders from the 90's are my go to.

>Gibson
Overpriced trash

Last time I checked their site they were all about "our soldiers abroad" which was a turn off already. Why can't they just shut the fuck up and make guitars ?

Gibson and epiphone can't into basses for some reason. I've got a thunderbird and she's unbelievably beautiful, but so fucking top heavy and awkward to play

nice digits. give schecter a look. i have a jazz bass and i love it.

I'd say make you own, or buy a used one. There is a surplus of used guitars thanks to the current music industry of hip hop , rap, and shit.

...and to answer your question for a brand to look toward, going from most expensive to least...

>Tom Anderson (this is the cream of the crop)
>Creston
>Heritage (aka the original Gibson company who didn't want to move from Michigan to Tennessee in the 60's. Want a 1959 Les Paul brand new from the same shop that made them back in the day? Look here)
>Rickenbacker
>G&L
>Ibanez (not kidding)
>GFS
>Squier (yeah yeah, I know)

>pic semi-related: it's an all aluminum headless guitar prototype made by Mr. Les Paul for personal use in the early 40's, before he reached out to Gibson.

ibanez
reverend
d'angelico
or just build a guitar using warmoth idk

Buy Chinese. They don't do any of that gay shit there.

squiers are pretty good for what they are. ibanez and ricks are sweet too.

bought loads of squier guitars over the years, never had a problem with them. plenty of them played better than shitty fenders iv'e owned.

This. Every worthwhile brand has been dead since the 60's. Buy used. Buy small brands. Roll your own. Make your own fucking amps and learn a new skill while pursuing our degenerative career paths as musicians.
