It was already infiltrated before that, as evidenced most notably by one Alexander Hamilton.
Finale was stupid as fuck. Soldier Boy was actually going redeem himself, his asshole personality and all the people he has hurt when he decided to end both Homelander and his son (his own grandson) but then he was stalled and ambushed by the same people who know what a monster Homelander is and how he must be killed in order to possibly save humanity from doom. Now Homelander has "escaped" with Ryan and we're shown Homelander can now kill in public if he wants with no consequences, Ryan is shown smiling when this happens showing he will become just like his father, and Homelander will run for president in the next season. Every character deserves to be killed by Homelander at this point. Fucking stupid. Soldier Boy was the most interesting character so far and he was done dirty.

I think the writer is a pink haired cunt or dyed hair twink who has painted himself into a corner by making Homelander and Soldier Boy related. After all, it would be an overpowered union, so the writer needed to create a conflict between them for no reason in order for the show to last a couple more seasons.
The fights between heroes suck, the story arcs are idiotic or illogical. Heroes get important or expensive items offscreen. The episode about Russia was probably filmed in America using Soviet posters that are not used at gas stations. The Ministry of Energy is just an office on the street and it is not fenced off. It's amazing that so many years have passed since the soprano, and you believe in stereotypes that are older than your fathers.
Black Noir was not realized as a character and absurdly died. I even feel sorry for him, although he is negro. Hope it comes back next season.
As for me, the main problem of the show is that there is too little satire in it. With the exception of "Woke Wok" and a few other things, this is your average superhero show. Superhero clichés are not ridiculed and the characters use them profusely without irony or ridicule.

I was kind of hoping soldier boy and homelander would be together and develop their characters more towards gray/good. Something along the lines of homelander having a father and son and changing perspectives. I saw a lot of potential but they already fucked it up. They rather fuck up a show than let their hatred for trump not kill off characters/possibilities. This is exactly why hollywood makes shit movies now.
