While the holocaust itself is a very unfortunate thing, the entire idea that the nation of Germany just suddenly became cartoon villains for absolutely no reason at all, which is largely how the holocaust is presented in Western education, is very dangerous and history should largely be unbiased in its presentation, though obviously not all history is, but I hope that one day, we can be honest with ourselves, as a species, about why things happen, rather than simply demonizing those who end up losing to support those that win.
