The moment came when I realized "wait a minute, the same people that preach equality, not being racist, homophobic, etc are literally the same ones belittling me and my experience because of immutable characteristics"
I started to self reflect and realized I've been a useful idiot for the left. Being empathetic and an ally to people who want nothing more than to throw me under the bus literally because of my skin color and my gender.

Same man. I was on board until the pandemic. Been a lefty all my (short) voting life. I’ve voted liberal in every federal/state election I could. But because I don’t subscribe to the most woke of woke lefty viewpoints, I can’t pass the leftist purity test. And that makes me a conservative in their eyes, lmao. Nevermind my voting record, if I simply question what the government is telling me and don’t go along blindly, there’s apparently enough to be considered conservative.
