1900-1970

Probably 1880 until the Great Depression. Though one could argue that 1945 to 1965 was its peak. Either is debatable.

First period saw the wounds of the Civil War healing with the country well and truly united. American patriotism was high, the West was being tamed and developed.

The post world war II period obviously saw the economy boom with no competition overseas. High patriotism, still had sensible racial policies, and the country developed industrially a lot.

1776, allowing legislators to both craft legislation and pass it was a bad idea due to human nature. The checks and balances sort of worked as a stop gap to prevent human nature from taking its natural course for about 30-50 years. Once all 3 branches were infected with greed, corruption, an abuse of power the fundamental ideas that America was founded on were lost. After the civil war America has not been a country of free men, we’re all slaves to the elected masters.

1775, revolution was a mistake

There were two golden ages. 2001-2007, which was when most of us were young children growing up. Fag marriage wasn’t legal, trannies got beaten to death, and everyone hated niggers. Good times. The second golden age was the age of Any Forums, 2017-2021, when /ourguy/ the God-Emperor instituted the most 4channy presidency of all time.

Things started going down hill as soon as the founding fathers started leaving office. They should have codified a lot more into the constitution than they did, namely regarding who they wanted to be citizens, how the voting systems should work, etc.

In the 60's. The 70's were already less great than the 60's, even if it was the peak it was already going down.
