Does oldschool conservative McConnell have a point on this one?
Mitch McConnell offered his own theory as to why at an event in Paducah, Kentucky, on Tuesday.
"You've got a whole lot of people sitting on the sidelines because, frankly, they're flush for the moment," the Kentucky Republican said. "What we've got to hope is once they run out of money, they'll start concluding it's better to work than not to work."
Mitch McConnell says the labor shortage will be solved when people run out of stimulus money because Americans are 'flush for the moment'.
Not exactly right. Americans who aren't going back to work have enough to not starve, but not enough to really improve or climb the social ladder. They've concluded that working a depressing job doesn't offer a big enough return anymore. Hopefully small businesses start to come back
Ethan Bell
yeah he would know. that's why he hasn't worked in 50 years.

I don't know what this cocksucker is talking about. I spent my Trump Bucks and Biden Bucks stimulus checks a long fucking time ago. Flush with cash my ass. Poor Kentucky dumbfucks keep voting this bastard in. You deserve Mitch and one lung Rand.
Adam Ward
I would pay real money to watch someone beat on that face. Disgusting.
Yeah. Judging from what I've seen everyone just frivolously spent their stimulus check on crap rather then using it for anything to improve their lives

Boomercons get the rope.

You waste money by taking some jobs because you end up spending most of it to commute to work. There are cities in the US right now wondering why nobody wants to flip burgers in a place high cost of living. Imagine working 170 hours a month and still not having an income to pay rent/utilities let alone all the other stuff. Farmwork especially where the commute takes over an hour (one way) and its minimum wage in the summer heat-even spics are turning down the work because it's costing them about 35% of their paycheck just to commute. There are less jobs now because more business went out of business, not because the jobs were taken up by someone wanting to work. Even the trucking industry is affected when there's seemingly an infinite amount of work to be fulfilled (LandAir just fired 150 truckers today.) Mitch is as senile as Joe.

Mine was used for much needed car repairs so I could... wait for it...... continue to get to work.

Working just gets you bigger debts. Why bother. If you don't have a letterbox you cant get bills or fines or summons.

He has a chink wife and is loyal to the ccp

And she is the heir to chink shipping, and we have shortages and they closed down ports. He is part of the chink take over.

>Man that's been in the senate for four decades calls other people lazy Senators and House members are the most useless cocksuckers imaginable
Dominic Wilson
He's right in my case, but it's not the measly stimulus checks that I got. It's money I earned. That totaled 2k tops, that's not even two weeks of expenses.
Andrew Bailey
>mfw I just realized republicans shot down the price gouging bill not because they want more money for themselves but because they are trying to drain money from the lower class to get them working at McDicks again
You don't need to be weathy to decide to not want a jb. You just have to have enough to get by with whatever you think is essential. For a lot of people the math is simple. Some disposable cash, entertainment, and housing of some kind. Flop House living, bug meat, public transport, a smart phone, and a streaming service subscription is all a shit load of people want right now.

It's like when you give a homeless guy a $20 and assume he's good for the week

So why isn't anyone working? Did all the millennials move back in with their parents and are living off their social security?
