Post 80s degeneracy

Power Rangers was a watered-diwn dumbed-down censored version of Super Sentai with Save By The Bells gags. Saban dubbs of that decade were pure cringe.

If they don't remember life before 9/11, they don't deserve to know and won't understand anyway.

Perhaps, the cultural exchange with Japan through gaming and tv was probably my fav part of the 90s

Technology was rapidly progressing, but had yet to complete envelope peoples lives.
You could watch a film or play vidya with true childlike awe, but then go back to the real world and behave like normal humans.
Now tech is so commonplace it’s boring but it’s also turned us into weird human/machine hybrids with poor perception of reality.

- Malls were much more popular
- Everyone trusted each other much more
- Racial harmony was at all time high. This ended during the Obama regime
- There was hope for the future, high social cohesion
- Internet had just been created, still limited in its population
- Video games made major innovations during this time, each new year something never before seen. Lots of games had soul
- Movies/shows were not political. A good modern example of something like this is the movie Top Gun Maverick. It focused more on solving problems and overcoming them
- No trannies, gays were not trying to shove their ideology down everyone's throat everyday everywhere constantly
- VHS tapes, floppy discs were common
If you watch the movie Total Recall it had many 90's attributes, especially the aesthetics and style

Creativity found it's moment

Look how attractive people are on TV back then. Now it’s all a bunch of awkward cringe rejects doing their best version of Judd Apatow’s characters in every fucking show and movie.

The last golden age. A peaceful age of Virgo, where race relations were in fact better than today and you could make a pretty honest living and still do the nuclear family thing if you wanted. Now people look at me like I’m insane for having a kid, but to me I’m just repaying how great that exact era was to me. Especially my grandparents, who bought us a Sega Saturn and always showed us a good time out in their country house. God I’m glad I got to see that, and that quietly their conservative beliefs eventually got through to me after their deaths.

Christ...I really don't give a fuck about race relations though lads...fuck em either way.
Gtfo my country simple as
