Hey Any Forums, today I'd like to discuss with you all about something that has been knawing at me and I believe is one of the root causes.
Why are leftists so damn unforgiving? Why did they become like this? Were they historically always like this? I don;t know, but it seems that their propensity to not forgive people and exact revenge, is there and it spreads suffering while preventing change. Of course, I do understand why many left leaning people are mad at society, but to not forgive people as a rule of thumb and hold grudges... It's just too fucked up

Their prime motivator is resentment and their ideology can be best summarized with the phrase "Fuck you, dad!" Their ideology is not based in ideals and thus is not a legitimate effort to make for an ideal world. It is about revenge and humiliating their enemies. Forgiveness and compassion are traits of nobility, not the resentful underclass who wants to burn it all down and has concrete plans on how to rebuild. Forgiveness means accountability - which the left doesn't believe in.

They live in a state of perpetual crisis; every issue is viewed as one where 'lives are at stake'. Misgendering someone? They could kill themselves. Make minor transportation budget cuts? Granny will starve now. Because they view everything hyperbolicly they perpetually feel 'in the right' in their condemnations, when you pair this with sensationalist headlines it leads them up a moral hill they can't yield ground on.
This is at least a big part of it for many leftists. They are often bigger racists than even people here, but completely self-loathing about it. Probably comes from the ethic of considering racism heinously bad in any form, and yet being unable to accept that racism is natural and normal, and even within themselves. This is why so many of them have such a white savior complex. It's just a particularly ignorant and condescending form of racism, far more harmful than any racism you generally find here, even though we are le big bad simply because we're honest about it.
