If I hypothetically go out west to Nevada or Arizona and explore the desert and and a quote unquote accidentally go on someone else's land and they start shooting at me from afar, and I get behind a rock and snipe them to death my rifle, is it self-defense? Legally they are not allowed to just start firing on somebody for being on their land but I hear that's common out there regardless, and I plan to go exploring out there for fun not causing any harm, so some b**** ass retard start shooting at me I'm going to blast them. So what will happen in the unlikely event that this ever occurs in my desert explorations? I will be looking for gold and paranormal experiences. And exploring ghost towns, all hobo Style

You sound like faggot thinking you are going to get behind a well placed rock and shoot better than then

No I might die, but I still got to shoot back anyway. And they are still a piece of s*** if they shoot first no reason.

Why do you type like a stupid nigger

My main advantage will be owning a better scope than them. Most likely I'm just going to get killed by Cartel members but thing is I don't really care because I'm pretty sick right now and it's a better way to die than the slowkill of illness

You would be charged with murder.
It would go to trial.
The jury would here how you trespassed on an innocent homeowner's land and killed him with a high powered rifle.
Your argument of self defense would not be believed by the jury, who would empathize more with the man defending his property than the drifter sneaking around at night with a rifle (obviously up to no good).
You would be convicted.

It's text to speech. I'm posting from a phone.

That sounds very realistic. Oh well, I was just wondering how it would play out but that's unfortunate of a conclusion. I'm still going to go out there. I would still be required to shoot the person shooting at me or get killed myself, but I'm sure a court of law would not understand that.

I heard that Nevada and Arizona have the most trespassing of any States. Because of all the desert. I don't think it's that common that property owners shoot first, because it's illegal, and because trespassing is so common and the desert, but it still happens

>I would still be required to shoot the person shooting at me or get killed myself
It honestly isn't necessary for someone to get killed at all when you're exploring the desert. I've gone out with a metal detector and wandered around looking for gold in Nevada myself without a gun and I'm still alive (didn't find any gold though).

Was some of it private property? I'm really not familiar with how much of it is private property out there, are how much they even care about all the trespassing that goes on

Just use the various arcgis maps for the counties you visit so you stay off private property?

if you step on my land I'm going to shoot the back out of your skull out, retarded little bitch

Plus you won’t have home field advantage. If they are remote enough, they’d just shoot you then bury you and that’s it. You’ll never be seen alive again so don’t risk it.

Ideally I want to go with no regard for private property, I'm just really not sure what will happen because I'm not familiar with any of this. Doctor said I only have 2 years to live so I really don't care about following the laws of man anymore or how much danger is involved

Not in clown world. They would check your privilege (skin color) and if you were undocumented. Results may vary

right to self defense extends to livestock, pets, and arson in many states user. They just have to drop a book of matches on your bloodied still warm palm. You should think this through before trying to fuck with skinwalkers.

Actually, yes. I was out there with my dad and he wanted us to go out on field with a big sign saying "trespassers will be shot". Luckily we didn't meet anyone.
After that we went to some mining runoff site where there were signs warning about heavy metal pollution in the ground, lol.

Stop playing video games it is rotting your mind.

I'm actually trying to become a Skinwalker. That's why I'm trying to find them in the desert. Before I die. But I'll probably die anyway.

You know how 400,000 people a year go missing in the united states?

Yeah that's not too bad since it's 0.1% of the general population, but even if I'm putting myself at for example 200 times the risk of the average person, that's a 20% chance per year, so it would take me on average 5 years of exploration out there before I mysteriously disappear.

HEY THERE.

>if i premeditate scaring someone into defending their home and family im good right
How brown are you?

First result on google:

Killing someone in Nevada is justifiable only if it is reasonably necessary to repel an imminent threat of death or substantial bodily harm. A “stand your ground” state, Nevada requires no “duty to retreat” before killing in self-defense as long as the person fighting back:

is not the original aggressor,
has a right to be in the place where deadly force is used, and
is not engaging in criminal activity.

In general, Nevada’s “Castle Doctrine” permits people in their homes or vehicles to fatally wound intruders even the intruders had no violent intent.

So yes, they can shoot you, if you shoot back it's murder since you're trespassing. I hope you get shot you dumbass.

Come fuck around and find out.

It's not premeditated, it's just a risk of something that could happen if a crazy person comes at me just for taking a walk upon God given Earth wherever I please

These statistics I'm looking at say that 115,000 people get shot every year in the United States, that's a 0.03% chance per year of getting shot. Even if I am putting myself at 500 times the risk of the average person in my adventuring, that's only a 15% chance of getting shot per year, meaning I can go like six and a half years without getting shot probably
