Anecdotal, but there's always been a predisposition in my family. My brother grew up quirky but a functional and creative person. He started smoking weed at 26, and he became severely and irreversibly paranoid and delusional. he's been like that for 10 years. He cut all his ties with the family, accusing everyone of the weirdest shit, and runs away every time he sees any of us.

Literally smoked weed for over 2 years, all day everyday. I am not smoking anymore and quitting was so easy, much easier than cigs for instance. I think weed is too powerful these days. In middle school i of course was not being hooked up. My friend or i would buy a gram on fridays and get very enjoyably high, joke around, marvel at music etc. Once i smoked a blunt with a couple of people by the pool and just listened to a cicada symphony for hours after swimming with a labrador. Beautiful. People now smoke all kinds of concentrates and go to the ER

I've smoked regularly since teens and take breaks of up to 6weeks sometimes just to save money than for any medical reason. Recently got really bad brain fog and negative feeling whilst on a break which I'm not susceptible too. Had a little smoke yesterday and felt much more positive and clear immediately. I should add that I never smoke to get smashed just shorts to take the edge off. Not sure what's going on but too much of anything can be bad.
