Can you stop talking like a retard? Yes, no one wanted these things because it is a colossal fucking waste of time. You have to stand in a narrow corridor with possibly zero ventilation (depending on the wind) for fucking hours in our city's case. It sucks. And that still won't get you through all docs most likely. And they have retarded rules like "I only want to see people from the city/not from the city (regions) on my shift from now on!" so you have to either come next day or wait for several hours once a new doc for that speciality comes for their shift. It's fucking rough. But unless you're both healthy enough and want to serve, or have a profession they really want, you go home with "we'll contact (phone) you if you're needed".
The outrage was due to politicians turning a purely civilian thing into this shit. Because even before the notices started being handed out there was no shortage of volunteers. I've had people I know IRL go there and they had to wait in lines for hours, blah blah only to be told "we'll be in touch" in March.
