It's pretty good, honestly. Maybe not the healthiest thing in the world, though. I like to crush one of them up into a batch of rice (~1 cup dry rice, ~3cups water). Just stir it a bit once it finishes to help even out the flavors or you'll have some really salty bites. It's mostly msg, sodium, and trace flavoring, so no extra calories to worry about either.

1 knorr beef bullion cube
bring to a boil simmer til done. This can now be used to extend taco meat, burritos, shepherds pie, whatever. It's tasty. Things are tight in the far north lads.

I add bouillon to soups or stews to add a little more punch to it. If you don’t have enough broth or drippings you can use them to make a quick gravy. I’ve seen people make a paste out of them to rub on roasts, and you can use them in things like chile too. Not a bad choice for your braising liquid in crockpots. They contain a lot of salt though so don’t salt before you add them. Think of them like the soup packets in your instant ramen.
